Fused Silica is made of high purity Quartz Sand by electrically fused (fusing temperature up to 1800-2000℃) in Electric Arc Furnaces , then the Crystalline Quartz Sand transformed into Amorphous Silicon Dioxide (transparent , inserted few fogs ) .
Fused Silica has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion and a very low thermal conductivity , high resistance to thermal shock as well as excellent chemical stability .
According to industry purposes , Fused Silica is sorted to different grading , utilizing our special machineries and technologies ,then crushing , sieving , magnetic separating ,thus as raw materials widely used for photovoltaic , Integrated Circuit ,EMC ,Refractories , Technical Ceramics , Investment Casting etc industries .
